There is A LOT of disinformation out there about the social justice concerns around menthol cigarettes and flavored cigarillos like Black & Mild or Swisher Sweets for Black/African Americans.  

Our goal is to set the record straight by exposing the lies, uncover the facts and spread the truth so Black lives can be saved. 

We want to understand Black/African American and Hispanic young adults’ thoughts and experiences with cigarillo brands, like Swisher Sweets, White Owls, Dutch Masters and others, and we want their voices and experiences to be heard.

The C’RILLOS Project seeks to level the playing field by increasing the representation of African American and Hispanic young adults and including their perspective in data that will shape tobacco control interventions and policy.
